I am a 17-year-old gymnastic athlete. This website has been created to display some of my fondest memories and to provide information to other young aspiring gymnast who would like to know what it takes to become a gymnast.
I started gymnastics when I was 9 years old at PIT Mill Park Club in 2001in the Advanced Junior Gym program. After couple of months, I moved into the competitive boy’s program which was more challenging. It teaches self-awareness, develops fitness, good body tension & posture and aerial awareness. Gymnastics helps develop good listening habits, improve attention span and has positive effects in all aspects of your life.I am now training at the Victorian High Performance Centre, Prahran.
My experience after entering the world of gymnastics has been awesome, great and fantastic which includes experiences in having to learn defeat as well. You need to overcome sadness and disappointment to do your best next time round. I brought home many trophies, medals, awards certificates, ribbons & banners after competing at Invitational, Clubs, Inter-School, Victorian & National championships. For years, my goal is to be able to represent Australia at a National or International competition.
2007 I represented Victoria in the National Championships and won Gold medal in gymnastics Level 8 open. I also represented Australia in the New Zealand vs. Australia competition and Australia won the event. Here is a presentation video created by my mom at this event.

With this victory, I have been selected to represent Australia in Pretoria, South Africa National Open MAG Tour in October 2007. I would like to get to this event without being a burden to my parents.
